Factory/Operations Manager - Food Manufacturing
Are you a seasoned manager looking for progression? Have you experience of managing large teams of people in a fast paced food environment?
This busy site has an opportunity for a hands on Manager to over see production of fresh food products and overseeing all aspects of the factory from Production to Engineering, HR, Technical and Despatch.
Reporting to a very experienced Site Director you will ensure production targets are met through materials and labour availability.
Liasing daily with the senior management team to ensure all areas of the business work together seamlessly, to achieve production targets. Have knowledge of daily numbers to communicate to Site Directors.
Managing and coaching your direct and indirect reports to ensure best practice across the site
Oversee audits and ensure the highest levels of hygiene are adhered to
Manage through your Production teams, required staffing levels to ensure volume requirements are met
Meet customers and assist with product development and new product launches
