Contract Personnel are currently collaborating with an independent country inn where food, wine and real ales are their passion. In addition, looking for a new Sous chef to Join, The Inn is close to Cambridge, Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds.
This Client is passionate about food and produce a selection of daily special dishes, along with a la carte menu that changes with the seasons.
You will be working with fresh food up to a rosette standard deputizing in the head chef absence. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a clean, tidy and professional manner.
- Prepare all food items in a sanitary and timely manner
- Operate s kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean working station
- Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Working with fresh food up to a rosette standard
